Where is Rock River Christian College?
Rock River Christian College is located at 1146 Grant Street in Beloit, Wisconsin. We are just a few minutes north of the Illinois/Wisconsin state line.
What about housing?
Because we are a small college, we do not have housing for our students. There are several apartments in the area. We will assist students in finding housing if need.
How much is tuition and is there financial aid?
Tuition is $80.00 per credit hour. All classes are three credit hours making tution for one class $240.00. If a student wishes to audit a class, the tuition is $55.00 per credit hour or $165.00 per class. There are no out-of-state fees, no lab fees, no hidden costs. Because we are not accredited at this point, we cannot accept financial aid from outside sources. We do have some private financial aid available.
What is the payment policy at RRCC?
Full payment of tuition and textbook(s) is due at the beginning of each semester. Students not able to pay the entire amount must pay one-half (1/2) of entire balance at the beginning of said semester and must sign a "Deferred Plan Contract" indicating one-half (1/2) of the remaining balance to be paid before mid-term exams with the remaining balance due before final exams. No exams are administered to "deferred" plan students if there is an outstanding balance.
Where do I get my textbooks?
Rock River Christian College does have its own library and bookstore. It is our policy to order textbooks for our students, however students are free to purchase their own books through other sources.
What kind of degree with I receive?
Once you have completed our program and have earned credits for General Education courses from another educational system, meeting all criteria you will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Christian Ministry.
Why do I have to take General Education courses at another school?
We are unable to offer General Education courses at this time. We do accept credits for transfer from other colleges and universities based on our requirements. There are several community colleges within a reasonable commuting distance.
